The service

Specialist landscaping, laid to a high standard

A garden that works is one where the levels, drainage and surfaces have been thought through together. We take on full landscaping projects and single elements, from re-levelling a sloping garden and building retaining walls and steps, to laying turf, edging beds and setting out paths. Because we do the groundwork and the paving ourselves, the hard and soft parts of the garden line up properly rather than being patched together by separate trades. Garden landscaping covers both the hard landscaping, paving, walls, steps and drainage, and the soft landscaping of turf and planting, and doing both under one roof is what keeps a project looking joined-up rather than patched together. As a landscaping company offering landscaping services across south west London and Surrey, we take on everything from a single retaining wall to a full garden rebuild.

Small walled gardens around Vauxhall reward careful design: defined seating, low-maintenance planting and good drainage. We rebuild levels and edges first, then lay paths and borders so a compact space feels deliberate rather than cramped.

FAQs

Landscaping questions, answered

Still have a question?

Give us a call and we’ll talk it through.

Do you take on whole-garden projects?

Yes. We handle everything from clearance and levelling through to paving, turf and planting, so you deal with one team from start to finish.

Can you work with a sloping garden?

We do. Retaining walls, steps and re-levelling are a regular part of the landscaping work we take on.

Do you lay turf and plant, as well as paving?

Yes. Alongside the hard landscaping we lay turf, edge and fill planting beds and tidy the boundaries, so the garden is finished rather than left as bare groundwork.

How long does a garden project take?

It depends on the scope, from a few days for a single element to a few weeks for a full transformation. We set out the stages and a timescale in the written quote.

Can you work around features I want to keep?

Yes. If there are trees, a shed, a pond or planting you want to keep, we plan the work around them and protect them while we are on site.

Do you clear the garden and take the waste away?

Yes. Clearance and waste removal are part of the job, and we leave the garden clean and ready to use.

What is landscaping?

Landscaping covers everything involved in shaping and finishing a garden: hard landscaping such as paving, walls, steps and drainage, and soft landscaping such as turf, planting and beds. Most gardens need a mix of both, which is why we handle the groundwork, hard surfaces and planting as one job rather than passing you between trades.

How much does garden landscaping cost?

Cost depends on the size of the garden, how much the levels need changing, the materials and planting you choose, and access for machinery and waste. A single element, like a new path or a retaining wall, costs a lot less than a full garden transformation, so we always price after seeing the site rather than guessing over the phone.

Does garden landscaping increase home value?

Well-planned garden landscaping is generally seen as one of the better-value home improvements, since a tidy, usable garden with proper drainage and low-maintenance planting tends to appeal to buyers and can help a property stand out. We can't promise a specific figure, as it depends on the property and the local market, but it's rarely wasted money when it's done properly.
